I currently have a 07 m35 and put in an sirius box, the dealer tells me that the new models are xm dedicated. Will need a converter when I trade current vehicle

Can I buy a new Nissan (with XM factory installed) and bypass the factory XM with an aftermarket dashmount SIRIUS until the content and programming merges and then go back to using my factory satellite when available?

Yes you could, but we do not know how much SIRIUS XM will receive or when. A Nissan tuner for SIRIUS is being developed so if you can email Sales@tss-radio.com with you make model and year we can hold onto you email til we get something in. Be advised however we do not know what vehicles the Nissan kit will work for, so you may have to wait for an even longer period on a revised version that works for 08-09 Nissans etc.

I was looking around on mynissanparts.com and came across a sirius tuner they offer that says 2005-2008 pathfinder require the 6 disk cd changer. Know I have the changer plus navi so I presume it will work. I wanted to let you guys know so maybe you can see if it is legit or not. If it is maybe you can start selling it!!!!!!!! I was thinking of purchasing an infiniti,but I believe xm comes standard. I CANNOT stand xm, is there a way I can receive sirius through my factory Infiniti radio. That will work with on screen menus. Thank you
I have a2009 nissan maxam with X.M from the factory.I hate it. WHY did they change from SIRIUS?
Absolutely hate the XM in my 2008 G35x. Sirius still says they don’t know if you’ll be able to change programming over. So I need a way to convert it now.
