Well the content on both services hasn't completely become mirrored. So some that may want the XM side would still go with an XM receiver and vice versa for SIRIUS. The Stiletto 10/100/2 can still record Howard and SIRIUS exclusive content just fine, and the XMp3 can record the XM exclusive content just fine.

Basically if you want XM go for XM, if you want SIRIUS go for SIRIUS. The Best of XM/SIRIUS Packages confuse things a bit, but allow XM subs to get Best of SIRIUS and SIRIUS subs to get Best of XM.

That was a long response, but hopefully it answered everything for everyone

Considering the merger, what good is a radio that cannot record Howard?

I agree. They did a good job really trying to market themselves with this one. They need to adapt features to keep competitive in the portable media market. Thanks for the comment!

This is the direction the company should take. It looks like it has great features (record 5 channels at once? WOO-HOO), nice display and a home dock included!
